About me
Hello, I’m Divya Reddy, a public health professional, researcher, educator, and a proud parent of a 12-year-old. My career is rooted in a strong commitment to fostering healthier communities by empowering families with culturally relevant health education, particularly in areas of sexual and reproductive health and emotional well-being.
My journey began with a foundation in Ayurvedic Medicine, which sparked my passion for holistic health approaches. After earning a PhD in Public Health with a major in Global Health from Oregon State University, I embarked on a path that spans continents and cultures. My work has taken me from rural Botswana, where I conducted impactful research and developed community-driven education programs, to classrooms where I have guided hundreds of students through complex health topics.
Throughout my career, I have presented my research on community-driven health partnerships at international conferences, earning recognition for its innovation and cultural relevance. I have developed resources and programs to support children and adolescents in navigating emotional challenges, and my publications on sexual and reproductive health reflect my dedication to bridging global health challenges with culturally tailored solutions.
Parenting my 12-year-old has been one of my greatest joys and profound learning experiences. It has taught me the value of patience, empathy, and the importance of creating meaningful emotional connections. These personal insights inspire my professional mission to support families around the world by creating inclusive and accessible resources that address their unique needs.
I am dedicated to building a world where every family, regardless of cultural background or circumstance, feels supported, understood, and empowered. Through education, community programs, and personal connections, I strive to help families navigate their challenges with confidence and compassion. Let’s connect and explore ways to create healthier and more compassionate communities together.
